JOB DESCRIPTION:   Merchandiser, Visual Company: Universal Orlando Central Florida's #3 Top Company for Working Families, Universal Orlando Resort - home of the world's two most amazing theme parks, Universal Studios and Universal's Islands of Adventure, plus the extraordinary Universal CityWalk entertainment center - is currently seeking the following professional to join our team. Responsible for the creative design & conceptualization of UO Merchandise windows and Visual presentations to promote UO merchandise capital generation and a capture positive guest experience. Assist in the training and execution of UO merchandising standards. Maintain the Visual in-store sets that pertain to seasonal trim, promotions, special events or Theatrical releases. Must have knowledge of and be able to source and procure Visual Merchandise & Themed props/goods within the industry. Job Responsibilities: Design and conceptualize all visual presentation windows to meet product needs, promote new sales or slow moving merchandise, as well as UO standards. Works with Visual Merchandise Manager and staff on the implementation of all store sets, merchandise flow, and interior/exterior visuals. Ensure visual merchandise presentations within the various stores meet UO standards and originally developed concept. Procure Visual Merchandise & Themed props/goods within the industry to assist in the development of presentations. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Experience: Requirements Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in fine arts or related area required. - 1-3 Years: experience in high volume merchandising required. Prefer experience in an attraction, hotel shops and retail environment. - The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
