JOB DESCRIPTION: Network Technician

South Florida computer consulting firm has an opening for a experienced full-time Network Technician to service its clients in South Florida. Candidate must be able to:
* Resolve network related issues on servers, workstations, and laptops
* Support Microsoft Server products (Server 2000 and 2003, Exchange Server 2000 and 2003 and Small Business Server 2000 and 2003)
* Maintain Active Directory, Group Policies & Profiles.
* Support desktop operating systems (98, 2000 & XP)
* Strong knowledge on the MS Office Suites, Word Perfect and various other desktop applications.
* Configure & troubleshoot network devices (hubs, switches, routers, firewalls and print servers)
* Deploy and support managed Anti-virus solutions
* Implement Remote Access/Client VPN solutions
Requirements:
* Have SOLID Exchange and A.D. background (Please do not submit your resume if you do not)
* Current MCSE Certification (will consider various MCPs)
* Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to research various issues
* Professional appearance
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to communicate with clients using non-tech speak
* Great work ethic (no clock watchers)and be trustworthy
* Good driving record (must have your own car)
