JOB DESCRIPTION: CASHIER
Company: Gold Coast Beverage Distributors
Gold Coast Beverage Distributors is looking for an accountable, organized individual to fill the position as a cashier for our settlement department. RESPONSIBILITIES include: Collect money, settle and close accounts on a day-to-day basis in an effective and efficient manner.Prepare and close driver settlement and house tickets. Collect bounced checks from sale reps.Prepare daily bank deposits.And Ensure that money collected is reconciled and balanced at the end of each day.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required.At least six months of cashier and/or teller experience required.Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment.Must possess good computer, math, and data entry skills.Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Adequate vision for reading small print on invoices and computer screens.Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Typically bends, stoops and/or crouches on a regular basis. Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
