JOB DESCRIPTION:   Legal Secretary Automobile Insurance Company seeking Legal and Administrative professionals for secretary job. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Having knowledge of insurance defense, personal injury and worker's compensation information. Assists with the preparation of legal documents. Research legal background information relating to legal issues, gathering records and files, and entering data into an internal software program called, “Time Matters”. Drafting routine contracts or legal agreements and correspondence. Providing secretarial/administrative support to the assigned attorney, including, but not limited to: Answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments and/or depositions, strong typing skills (a minimum of 60 WPM) and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus, Outlook, PageMaker and Internet Explorer. Business hours are from Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pm. Business casual environment. Requirements Having knowledge of Insurance Defense, Personal Injury and Workers Compensation Strong typing skills (Minimum of 60 WPM) Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills (greeting clients) Strong organizational skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus, Time Matters, Outlook and Internet. Must be able to answer 5+ plus switchboard lines, take messages and schedule appointments/depositions. Must be able to work Monday- Friday 8:00-5:00 Salary (contingent upon experience) is $35-40 K/ annually with Medical, Dental, Vision Business Casual Environment ** Interviews will be conducted the week of February 5-9 ** Several positions available.
