JOB DESCRIPTION:   Legal Secretary Company: Law Offices of Herssein & Herssein, PA Prestigious, busy Miami Beach law firm is seeking a self-motivated, intelligent, quick, reliable, punctual and highly organized legal secretary with several years of litigation experience. At least 3 years experience is preferable. Insurance Defense and/or PIP experience is preferable. Bilingual is preferable. Good references are preferable. Requirements The right candidate is expected to perform all tasks relevant to a legal secretary handling civil litigation. And, the tasks are expected to be performed with the highest level of care, attention, focus and concentration, but at a high pace. This is why we require several years of good litigation experience. We concentrate on insurance defense (PIP, in particular), and also specialize in Plaintiff's Personal Injury, and commercial litigation. The right candidate will be secretary to the partner. You are expected to arrive on time, with a great attitude, and work 9-5, with one hour lunch break. You are expected to type sufficiently quickly, answer phones with an excellent attitude, draft correspondences and pleadings, calendar/docket/schedule confirm appointments, open & close files, assist with billing, file, and all other legal tasks expected of you by the partners.
