JOB DESCRIPTION:   Director, Human Resources Company: Lucas Group The Director, Human Resources is responsible for the efficient and effective performance of human resources functions at the two company locations. The incmubant will act as an HR Generalist at the Director-level overseeing all HR functions. The Director will identify and attract top talent, and will also provide a cross-functional support system to all employees. Responsiblities include recruiting and selection, employee relations, benefit administration, worker’s and unemployment compensation, training and development, and employee servieces. The Director, Human Resources is also responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating company-wide initiatives including safety programs, labor negotiations, and worker’s compensation. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of related HR experience, preferably as a generalist at the manger or director-level, in a union or manufacturing environment. Must be knowladgeable and able to practically apply knowledge in : human resource policy development and implementation, labor contract administrtion, worker’s compensation and benefits, and recruiting and developing top talent.
