Kindred Hospital South Florida Fort Lauderdale is currently recruiting for (3) 7p-7a Fulltime ICU/ Telemetry Trained RN's for our LTAC hospital located on Las Olas Blvd in sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ideal candidate will coordinate total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Assesses the patient's condition and nursing needs; sets goals; prescribes appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals and the physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of the patient, including discharge planning. Reports pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to the appropriate person ( ie. physician, charge nurse/nursing supervisor) Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden adverse developments in patients such as cardiac arrest in ICU. Required Experience: Qualifications for this position must be licensed in the State of Florida, Current BCLS and ACLS Certification, Certificate of completion of an approved Critical Care or Telemetry Course, Ability to Critically think, make good decisions quickly that results in positive outcomes, Provides nursing services that are consistent with established standards. Can successfully pass the Arrithymia and Pharmacology exams, Current CEUS.
