JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for implementation and oversight of the facility's Risk Management/Quality Assurance program.
Identify high-risk areas and implement corrective or preventive action(s) in a systematic organized fashion.
Investigate and analyze the frequency and causes of general categories and specific types of incidents.
Develops and participates in the implementation of a facility specific risk management reduction plan through the Risk Management/Quality Improvement committee.
The development of appropriate measures to minimize the risk of incidents to residents, including, but not limited to, education and training in risk management and risk prevention for personnel.
Insure that the facility complies with the back injury prevention and slip/fall prevention programs and other programs.
Comply with training requirements relating to injury prevention and injury management.
Monitor compliance with OSHA requirements.
