JOB DESCRIPTION: Orthodontic Assistants play an important role in the overall operations of our dental practices. They perform chair side assisting with preparing and maintaining dental instruments and instrument transfer. Delivering patient personal oral hygiene instructions. Preparation of dental materials: Cements, Impression materials. Removing excess cement from brackets and orthodontic bands. Pouring impressions and trimming plaster models for labs and presentation. Instrument cleaning, sterilization/Disinfection, and re-circulation, operatory disinfection. Bracket set-up, among other clinical duties.
Schedule- 3 days a week
Experience:
Min. 1 year of RECENT Ortho assisting experience REQUIRED
Education:
High School Diploma REQUIRED
X-ray Certified and Expanded Duties Certification REQUIRED
