JOB DESCRIPTION: My office is interested in finding a psychiatric nurse practitioner who would be available to see an occasional referral for outpatient medication management. The clients are non-acute adults residing in a Federal halfway house in Orlando. Typically the clients will have histories of mental health and substance abuse problems, and conviction for non-violent Federal charges. While incarcerated and prior to residing in the halfway house, each client completes a one year long counseling program. The psychiatric services will require no special treatment beyond the usual office practice. My office will pay the office rate and in turn bill the Federal Bureau of Prisons under our contract. The professional will be an independent contractor.
