JOB DESCRIPTION: UTILITIES ENGINEER
Company: City of Coral Springs
Under the general direction of the Utilities Superintendent, this position is to perform professional engineering work to plan, coordinate and implement the Public Works and Utilities Capital Improvement Program. The Utilities Engineer is accountable for managing projects in compliance with all applicable regulations and engineering practices. Works with a high degree of independence and initiative, frequently confers with the Utilities Superintendent, City Engineer or Consultants working for the City.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, with three to four years of related engineering experience in construction/project management; certification as Engineering Intern and/or licensed as Professional Engineer desirable. Knowledge of design and construction of water operations, wastewater and drainage systems in a municipal environment.
