JOB DESCRIPTION: Event/Marketing Coordinator

Performs professional, public relations, and managerial work for the Downtown Development Board (DDB) and the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). Responsible for development, implementation, and management of marketing and promotion programs and their operating budgets as well as developing and implementing customer and constituent outreach initiatives. Participate in maintaining and enhancing DDB's internet presence. Duties require the exercise of considerable initiative and independent judgment.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in marketing, public relations, public administration, or related field, plus two (2) years of experience at a professional level in developing, scheduling, coordinating, marketing, and managing promotional programs and special events, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience in website development and in the creation of HTML and related documents preferred.
