JOB DESCRIPTION:   CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Bottom Line Consultants, a Manhattan based firm dedicated to a high standard of excellence in providing services in the Restaurant, Retail and Hospitality Industry, seeks a Chief Fianacial Officer for a dynamic, fast growing, Restaurant Concept, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. We are in search of an experienced senior finance professional to drive implementation of programs to oversee the finance operation throughout the Company. Primary responsibilities of the ideal candidate will include: accounting, regulatory, cash management, investment management, capital management and financial reporting, merger and acquisition, as well as risk analysis and pricing.

Areas of Responsibility:

Oversight of the daily, weekly, monthly and annual procedures of the finance organization, including financial reporting, treasury and cash management, taxes, billing and corrections, purchasing and accounts payable, risk management, information systems, etc..


Collaborate with the leadership team to effectively communicate and implement new strategies, processes, policies, systems and initiatives.


Develop and ensure the effective implementation of finance strategies, processes, policies, systems and metrics that contribute to the overall success of the business.


Establish strategic partnerships with senior corporate, and executives. Serve as an internal consultant to senior management to proactively identify critical company financial issues and develops plans to address.

Required Experience:
*Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

*Minimum 5 years' in a CFO position, including a responsible position in corporate accounting.

*Some experience and knowledge of investment and cash management.

*Knowledge of insurance regulation and regulatory reporting requirements.

*Must have the ability to function well with little supervision, be progressive thinking and be a solid contributor to the management team.

*Strong Leadership Skills.

*Must be detail oriented and well organized.

*Strong personal computer skills, including proficiency with standard business software applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet research and reporting.

*Proven ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally.

*Ability to prioritize and complete complex tasks in agreed-upon timeframe.

*Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines as needed.

*Ability to manage a small staff responsible for all accounting and financial functions.

*Effective managerial skills. Delegates appropriately and balances oversight and autonomy of direct reports to maximize efficiencies.

*Leadership skills; known to be an effective and efficient leader.

*Adaptive and flexible in a fast-paced, growth environment.

*Ability to be the ultimate team player and build relationships with other managers of the firm.
