JOB DESCRIPTION: Manufacturing/Distribution Controller
Company: Robert Half Management Resources
Compensation: $38 to $42 per hour
Manufacturing/Distribution company seeks a corporate controller. Candidate should possess solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills.
Candidate will:
+ have knowledge of all aspects of accounting principles generally accepted (GAAP) in the US
+ plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions
+ Coordinate the preparation of internal and external financial statements
+ Coordinate activities of external auditors
+ Evaluate accounting and internal controls
+ Oversee regualtory reporting
+ Hire, train and retain competent accounting staff.
Candidate should have manufacturing cost accounting experience including variance analysis, etc. Position will manage 5-8 people.

Requirements
Requires at least seven years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
