CALL CINDY TODAY 816-373-2222 and email resumes to cindy@acrecruiting.com Candidates must have a broad perspective of the Data Processing profession with 6 to 8 years experience in programming/analysis with 4 to 5 years experience in DB2 Database Management systems. Required Experience: Strong understanding of relation database structures, theories, principles and practices Ability to design, implement and maintain DB2 databases in a Z/OS environment. Ability to maintain the optimization, stability, scalability, security and general performance of multiple Test and Production DB2 environments Ability to successfully maintain DB2 Disaster Recovery procedures and perform full system recovery Ability to provide technical assistance to programmers and participate in evaluation of tools, techniques and vendor software Ability to work with IBM and other tool vendors, for performance tuning, product upgrades, and defect resolution. Preferred Experience: Experience in a Microsoft SQL Server Environment connecting to ZOS DB2 system using OLE/DB products. A general knowledge of SQL. College Degree preferred.
