JOB DESCRIPTION: Companion for 88 Years Old Gentleman with Early Dementia. Pompano Beach, Florida.
Private Duty Caregiver Only!
My widowed father has started with early short-term memory loss dementia and we are looking for a special lady companion to give day-time assistance. Hours would be flexible, approximately 10-12 hours per day. He lives in a two bedroom/two bath apartment in an upscale independent living facility in Pompano Beach, Florida. He no longer has a car because of his failing eyesight, so you must have your own car and be willing to drive him to appointments and outings. He is tall, slender, very physically fit, and enjoys ballroom dancing, pool and shuffleboard. He is highly intelligent, extremely courteous and refined and enjoys classical music, opera, ballet and concerts. He immigrated from Europe as a young boy. A lady of similar background and tastes would be strongly preferred. Initially we are looking for 2-3 days per week, but it could become full-time and live-in if you are both compatible. Pay would start at $15 per hour, but live-in would be with a generous salary.
