Achieve Tampa Bay has three openings for part-time respite caregivers to provide in-home care to children with special needs. This is a rewarding position offering a flexible schedule. Choose your own days and hours!

This position offers a salary of $9.00 per hour and up to 29 hours per week.

Duties include feeding, changing diapers, playing with children and general babysitting. You will need reliable transportation to drive to the various locations where you will be working. You may work in various parts of Pinellas County such as Largo and Tarpon Springs.

We prefer candidates with experience in childcare, eldercare or caring for persons with disabilities. The ideal candidate will be trained in CPR and First Aid. However, experience is not required, and we will train reliable people. We will also provide CPR and First Aid training for certifications.

If you enjoy working with children, have reliable transportation, and are a responsible individual at least 21 years old, we would like to hear from you. We require the following as part of our background check on each potential employee:

-a local law check including fingerprints
-a motorvehicle department check
-a drug screening

Upon successfully passing our background check you can be hired. We will then connect you with families to work for, and with them you will design your own schedule.
