JOB DESCRIPTION:   Caregiver Wanted for Lovely Elderly Lady in Venice, Florida. FL Agencies May Contact: No Seeking full or part time caregiver for my mother, a lovely elderly lady with a nice apartment in Venice, Florida. She has a declining memory and often does not remember what happened in the short term. But she loves to go out each day and be stimulated, whether to cultural events, nature walks, to exercise class, or to the beach. She loves to go shopping and always looks great. She also loves to take care of her flowers. She still plays bridge. Ideally, we are looking for someone full time to live in. Then we could arrange for another caregiver to come a couple of days a week so the full-time person could have a break. We hope to find someone with experience with dementia patients who has good references and can drive. Help with cooking and errands is also needed. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is caring and likes to learn and to get out and do fun things. We notice that the more stimulation our Mom has, the happier she is, although she may not always remember what she did! Alternatively, we are looking for someone to come just one day per week and to sleepover 6 nights per week to supplement another caregiver who will come full time on the week days.
