JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client is looking for CAD/Applications Managers for both their ATLANTA and TAMPA offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The CAD/Applications Manager will manage and provide direction for the design teams in support of delivery of architectural and internal design projects. He or she will also perform as the liaison with the Firmwide Applications team to assist with the quality assurance and best practices. Other responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing existing application’s effectiveness and efficiency in order to develop strategies of improvement as well as developing and communicating training and documentation for end users, while holding clinics as necessary and conducting new hire trainings and other user-related activities. The CAD/Applications manager will also research and make recommendations on software products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.

Required Experience:
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture.
• 6 years of progressive experience. |
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max and SketchUp a plus.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Experience managing applications and/or systems management.
• Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions.
• Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
