JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Analyst Intern
SUMMARY
Terremark will from time to time recruit interns from the local universities to assist with special projects and/or increased business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
• Ability to show a professional and positive attitude
• Ability to work flexible schedules
• Ability to work on project related material and activities
• Ability to take ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
• Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to exercise good judgment and interpret and execute procedures
• Open to change and new information; adapts behavior and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles.
• Responsible for performing routine tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, manually and using computers

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Positions requires incumbent to be enrolled in college or university. Relevant training or experience in business analysis.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Good organizational thinking and communications skills; fluent in oral and written English. Ability to listen effectively and clarify information as needed to facilitate open exchange of ideas and foster an atmosphere of open communications. Ability to express facts and ideas in writing in a clear, convincing and organized manner.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within business or statistical analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within business analysis. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
