JOB DESCRIPTION:   North American Manager Provide strategic direction and guidance to N. American Sales & Service organization for this leading manufacturer of capital equipment. Spend 50 % of business time traveling in primarily Domestic locations for direct customer sales calls, sales and service development, gathering of competitive information, in support of sales team, and trade shows and conferences. Develop sales forecasts and participate in the development of pricing and performance strategies for individual sales prospects. Effectively communicate the company’s value proposition to achieve premium position and competitive differentiation in the marketplace. Requirements Bachelors degree in Business or related subject and 8 or more years experience in capital equipment Sales. Good relevant experience in managing a service organization. Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a sales & service organization. Strong managerial and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage and challenge staff to increase performance. High Customer Service Orientation. Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate financial and technical product benefits. English required, other languages including Spanish an advantage.
