JOB DESCRIPTION: Bentley Architects + Engineers is recruiting for a Florida Registered Engineer with a minimum of two years post registration experience in the design and preparation of plans for major and controlled access highways. Candidates experience should include design of new and complex reconstruction projects on controlled access facilities including interstates, interchanges, and expressways. Design experience should include the use of complex geometrics, substantial drainage evaluation and design features, permitting, maintenance of traffic plans,
interchange design, design of new rural or urban highways and the design of major reconstruction rural projects with substantial capacity improvements for facilities located within the State of Florida.Responsibilities:
Fully capable of completing roadway design efforts with minimal direction. On a task basis, is responsible for preparation and completion of roadway engineering designs that are responsive to project needs. Coordinates preparation of design details, plans, and drawings within assigned task areas. Perform Plan reviews and participate in stringent QCQA process. Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. Qualifications:
B.S or M.S. Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited College/University Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, with minimum of two years of post registration design experience Candidate must be currently living in Central Florida area and have US work Authorization (H1B candidates can not be considered at this time) Microsoft Office experience, including Microsoft Project Florida Department of Transportation project experience preferred. DOT experience in some state is required Candidate should be proficient in the use of Microstation, as well as design tools such as Civil 3D, Land Desktop and GeoPak; and must also have a working knowledge of current standards from FDOT, AASHTO and MUTCD. full Benefits submit resume
