JOB DESCRIPTION: The Broward Times is looking for a dynamic individual to fill our OFFICE MANAGER / RECEPTIONIST position. The Broward Times is a unique niche publication committed to serving the African-American and Caribbean South Florida market through quality journalism and providing these communities access to goods, products and services.
As office manager you will be responsible for answering phones, greeting visitors, coordinating mail subscription process, database management, mass mailings, invoicing, filing, ordering office supplies, and other duties as assigned.
YOUR ROLE
• Professional inbound/outbound telephone skills and customer service
• Provide administrative support to advertising sales, circulation and editorial departments.
• Effectively deliver clear and concise information
• Work with management to identify key areas of improving office efficiency and processes. |

Required Experience:
• Be Team player!
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
• Excellent typing skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Good administrative (organizational) / office management skills. |
