JOB DESCRIPTION: Payroll Clerk (ADP)

Summary: To assist the Payroll Manager in the duties and responsibilities pertaining to the processing and administering of the Company’s payroll.

Responsibilities:
• Compile payroll data such as time sheets, time off requests for multiple payrolls
• Prepare timesheet excel report and review for completeness and accuracy
• Contact various department supervisors for any missed times
• Process weekly/bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll data to ADP
• Pull many internal management reports from ReportSmith software

Experienced Required:
• 2-3 years of ADP experience preferred

Skills:
• Knowledge of ADP, ReportSmith or similar database system is essential
• Solid understanding of payroll functions
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Clear written and verbal communications
• Organize and write procedures in a logical/methodical manner
• Good time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Work well in a team environment
• Able to maintain confidential information

Education/Certifications:
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or one or mores related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree is preferred.

This is a temp-to-perm position paying $13-$14/hr, commensurate with experience.
