JOB DESCRIPTION:   Payroll Assistant with ADP Reply to: kmeyer@gocpr.com A client of ours is seeking a Payroll Assistant. This is a temp to hire opportunity. The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Provide payroll services in the absence of the Payroll Specialist Filing all related payroll documents. Make files for new hires. Import hours from BST into and ADP process payroll and send checks to branches. Data entry payroll information from PCN. Manually enter vacation, sick, and personal time taken on the PTO (Paid Time Off) report for Canada and UK and maintain monthly PTO report. From the late time sheet report, print time sheets out of BST and manually adjust ADP balances for the vacation, sick, and personal, e-mail employees to make them aware Shred confidential documents. Full day increment policy. Answer employee’s questions and troubleshooting. Complete “Verification of employment” request from third parties with employee permission. Retro Pay calculation. Supply HR with a negative PTO balance report. Correct any adjustments to the GL before it’s posted into BST. This position requires a basic knowledge of: payroll/accounting computer equipment and software designed to processes a payroll A High school diploma or general education degree (GED). A minimum of two (2) years in payroll and some accounting experience. Familiarity and some experience with MS word, Excel and other Windows based software applications. Position will pay anywhere from $13-$15 depending on the candidates level of experience. Location: Boca Compensation: $13-$15/hour
