JOB DESCRIPTION:   Head of Accounting Department Reply to: Kimberly@teamconceptscorp.com Reports To: Director of Finance Supervises: Accounts Payable staff Cash Application Accounting Department General Function: The Accounting Manager is responsible for the day-to-day processing activities of the accounting department and for the timely and accurate keeping and closing of the company financials. Oversee the activities of the Corporate Accounting department for the accurate and timely preparation. Prepare documents and reports to support all company financial reporting needs, including special projects as assigned by the Director of Finance. Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of monthly closings. Establish, maintain and improve accounting systems, controls and efficiencies. Support department requests for updates, explanation of accounts, budgeting, etc. Responsible for accurate monthly input into Hyperion and other required reporting to the Parent company. Responsible for coordination of the annual external audit. Develop and coach accounting staff. Qualifications: ƒá BS/BA in Accounting required plus CPA or equivalent experience ƒá Minimum 2 years accounting management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment ƒá Minimum 5 years total accounting experience preferred. ƒá Must have solid experience in financial statements, general ledger, monthly closing, etc. ƒá Experienced in credit and collections. ƒá Must be a solid, detail oriented leader who is very deadline conscious with ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Location: North Miami Compensation: Salary Range: $50-$60k plus Company Bonus
