JOB DESCRIPTION:   Senior Accountant My client is a rapidly growing player in the Biotech industry. They will triple in size in the next 18 months, and are looking to bring on sharp professionals to help guide this growth, and help build for the future. Responsibilities: The individual will be responsible and accountable for most general ledger activities, including: " Monthly general ledger close. Ensure month end close process provides accurate and timely financial statements. " Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations. " Analysis of general ledger accounts. " Preparation of internal financial statements. " Responsible for processing of accounts payable and payroll. " Responsible for sales order process (including generating invoices and collections of accounts receivables). " Maintain fixed asset accounts and monitor capital expenditures. " Maintain general ledger system. Must be able to work independently (with minimal supervision) to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects. Must be very customer service orientated and be able to meet critical deadlines with a professional manner. Committed to both team and company performance. Must have strong time management skills with ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects. Requirements Experience: " 3+ years of general accounting experience. " Good understanding of GAAP. " Strong Excel skills (intermediate/advanced level). " Intermediate level Word skills. " Experience in a high growth, dynamic environment preferred.
